Curtis is currently researching how to grow single crystals of metal sulfides by chemical vapor transport and possible aqueous syntheses.
If you think this project sounds interesting and would like to work on a similar MQP, then contact Prof. Grimm to join now!
What brought you to WPI?
I was interested in attending an engineering school and picked WPI for the project-based curriculum and the general atmosphere on campus. I wanted to be surrounded by people who cared about the knowledge and learning available to those who searched for it.
What are your research interests?
Currently, I am interested in anything remotely related to solar energy or materials science.
What will you be doing immediately following your time at WPI?
As a rising sophomore, I have plenty of time to discover more opportunites for myself after WPI. After graduating from WPI, I will hopefully be working in my field.
What are your long term professional goals?
I don’t know what my goals are yet.
